Our Story

HANSYBAY was born from a parent's frustration — and a child's fear.

After watching their little one fall again and again on traditional inline skates, our founders asked a simple question: why does learning to skate have to hurt so much?

Traditional wheeled sneakers offered part of the answer — they were easier to balance on and far less intimidating than laced-up skates. But most brands treated them as toys, cutting corners on safety, comfort, and design.

We saw a better way.

HANSYBAY combines the stable, low-to-the-ground confidence of wheeled sneakers with real skate engineering: glossy, scratch-resistant uppers with embedded glitter, a ring of 7-color LED lights circling the TPU sole with 16 flash modes (7 static + 9 dynamic), and — most importantly — our removable wheel system. Pop the wheels out and they're a pair of head-turning light-up sneakers that stay lit for 5–8 hours on a single charge. Snap them back in and they transform into stable, beginner-friendly inline skates that kids as young as 3 can learn on. Need a middle ground? Remove just one wheel for single-wheel cruising — all three modes switch in seconds, no tools required.
